OJB Jezreel’s Family Released Final Burial Arrangements: To Be on Friday, July 8th 2016

The burial arrangements of late ace producer and singer, Babatunde Okungbowa aka OJB Jezreel has been released by the family.

This is coming after his death last Tuesday, June 14th 2016 after battling kidney-related disease.

His Burial arrangements as released by the family are as follows:

Candle Light Procession
Date: Monday, July 4th 2016
Time: 5PM
Kick off point: OJB’s house, 4, Gbaja street, Surulere, Lagos

Wake keeping/Service of songs/Tribute
Date: Thursday, July 7th 2016
Venue: Ojays, National Stadium, Surulere. 5pm.

Funeral Arrangements
Date: Friday, July 7th 2016

Laying in State at his Residence
Time: 7AM – 8AM
Venue: 4, Gbaja str, Surulere, Lagos.

Funeral Service 
Time: 9AM
Venue: Redeemed Christian Church of God, Grace Chapel, 129, Ogunlana Drive Surulere, Lagos.

Interment Venue: Ikoyi Cemetery, Ikoyi after the service.

He is survived by his father, Chief Anthony Okungbowa (Arase of Agbor); siblings, Theresa Ebunola Gamba, Cornelius Archibong, Albert Okungbowa, Anthony Okungbowa, Marvin Okungbowa, Bose Ajila Okungbowa, Joseph Okungbowa; wives, Mabel Babatunde Okungbowa, June Okungbowa, Korede Okungbowa and his eight children.

May his soul rest in peace.

OJB Jezreel’s wife June Ama shared a touching tribute on Facebook this morning as she makes her peace with his death.

She wrote:

With a grateful heart to GOD…with praises on my lips…and thanks in my heart i thank God for the life of my Husband Babatunde Okungbowa aka OJB JEZREEL. 

You sang and said so much about the day you would leave this world,u had no fear of death or pain, all u held onto was your love for God,ur love for your children…its a love that kept you breathing day and night, u never lost your faith in the Lord. 

You died a believer u died a true Christian…so i cry tears of joy for you,joy that the pain that made days horrible..the pain that made nights a torture are over. LET NO MAN TAKE GOD’S GLORY FOR YOUR LIFE…every day u lived was by the GRACE AND MERCY OF GOD,not by money,not by drugs,not by doctors,as no one could explain how your survived all the attacks and several health issues that came your way.your beautiful story will be told darling,your pure heart and endless love will see us thru losing you my love. 

Thank you my love for giving me the best years i have ever known,3 amazing sons that radiate your love and all u taught them..its been hard baby…it hurts baby..we want u back but your sons said ”my daddy is in heaven mummy don’t cry” daddy is no longer in pain so mummy pls don’t cry”. i draw strength from knowing you made heaven,your sons kiss me so much and tell me they love me everyday so i will stand strong with a fragile heart.  

OJB ur alive everyday in the home we shared in our hearts and WE WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER AND ALWAYS. OUR LOVE CAN NEVER END….go with God.

Hon. Mohammed Gololo Garba

41 years old Hon. Mohammed Gololo Garba is representing Gamawa, Bauchi State at the Federal House of Representatives under the umbrella of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).

Hon. Samuel Okon Ikon

Hon. Samuel Okon Ikon is 43 years of age born to the family of Elder Okon Ikon of Mbioto Ekpene Ituen in Etinan Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. He represents the Etinan/Nsit Ibom/Nsit Ubium Constituency Akwa Ibom State at the lower chamber, under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Samuel attended Federal Government College Ikot Ekpene where he obtained the West African School Certificate in 1989. 

The graduate of Economics from the University of Calabar started his career in the private sector where he acquired lots of experience as the Director/Managing Director of many companies.

Hon. Samuel who also holds an MBA from the University of Uyo joined politics, and was elected into the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly in the year 2007, and he was there until the year 2011. There, he was the chairman of Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly committee on appropriation/ finance. He later became the Speaker of Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, and the Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures in Nigeria. He was also the Executive Committee member, CPA (African Region).

In the year 2015, Samuel Okon Ikon was elected into the Federal House of Representatives. His Legislative Interests border on youth empowerment, environmental protection, attracting of federal projects in his constituency and advancing issues to strengthen the legislature.

Hon. Mark Terseer Gbillah

44 years old Mark  Terseer Gbillah represents the Gwer East/Gwer West Federal constituency at the green chamber.

The APC lawmaker attended Mount Saint Gabriel School Makurdi. He studied Building at the University of Jos, and proceeded to University of Liverpool for his post-graduate studies.

After his studies, Mark Gbillah served as the Chief Executive Officer of Cyrosure Global Ltd, a company whose object clause includes construction, international and local consultancy, real estate, international franchise, telecommunications, agriculture, etc.

He was a consultant to Huawei, Syngenta, Trussnet etc. He was also the AG COO/ Head of Operations, Broron Group USA/ Nigeria, an international telecommunications service company that is based in the United States and Nigeria.

Gbilla also served as the head of project management & implementation of Mobitel Ltd, Lagos, a project management, contract negotiation & management, planning and strategy company. He worked with Itelios Towers Nigeria as project manager. At Airtel Nigeria, he was a project specialist.

His legislative interests include appropriation and procurement processes, anti-corruption, telecommunication services and infrastructure, effective oversight, public and private sector accountability, constitutional control of herdsmen, security and defense.

It will be recalled  that the U.S. Ambassador to Nigeria James Entwistle, in a letter dated June 9, 2016 specifically accused the three Lawmakers of attempting to rape a Hotel housekeeper, as well as soliciting s*x from prostitutes at the International Visitor Leadership Programme on Good Governance.

The three lawmakers have, however, denied the allegations, threatening to sue the US government for defamation.

The U.S. government has also cancelled the Visas of the three members of the House of Representatives.

HOW TO RESTORE YOUR IMEI (SAMSUNG)

*Switch off your phone and press a combination of Power botton+Menu botton+ Volume down for 4 sec and release then press the volume up botton . Then you are into the download mode .

*Install and open the odin which you downloaded .

*  don't change any thing just leave all the way they are .

* click on PDA from the picture below and locate were you downloaded your OS from after that mark it as seen below .

* Press start and let the pc do its thing .

Wait the the process finish and dont unplug till you see the PASS in green as shown above. Your device might boot severally (don't worry its normal).

Its takes about 10 minutes for your phone to completely boot up.

Now after complete boot go back and dial the code above to check on you IMEI number .

I don't regret donating my kidney and his plans for 50th bithday -- OJB wife says.

Sadly one of our very own song writter and producer passed on yesterday at the age of 49 after the failure of his kidney two weeks ago.

His wife Mabel shares the last moment of his late husband OJB and stated the fact that she doesn't regret donating her kidney to her late husband. I did it because i wanted to and i wasn' forced to do it.

His death was sudden  because we were still speaking about plans for his 50th over the weekend.

But on Sunday he had an interview with NETng Adebayo Showemimo. The interview was done as part of 50th bithday celebration in July. Unfortunately it was to be his last interview with the 50th birthday just around the corner. The interview was held on sunday June 12 at his home in surulere.

May his gentle soul rest in peace
